Lichen Renewal is an independent UK company operating as an innovative leader in landfill site recovery and restoration. Using new environmental proprietary technology, the company is focused on achieving three primary goals:

Ranbir Gill - Director
Ranbir GillBorn August 1963 in Jinja Uganda, Ranbir was educated at Marlborough College, Wiltshire and then at UMIST where he studied Mechanical Engineering.

Ranbir comes from a business background. His family have been in business since the 1920's in East Africa and India. Ranbir has been a Director of various family companies involving plywood, edible oil, soaps and property.

It was property and real estate that most interested him; his expertise in property ranges from adding value with enhanced planning ideas through to the full development of large retail schemes. Ranbir has over 25 years of experience in numerous and varied businesses around the world.

Ged Duckworth - Environment Consultant
Ged has spent his 20 year career in the waste management and land contamination fields. During this time he has been involved in developing national policy and regulatory codes and authored the "Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice". He has been a member of the Cabinet Office/DEFRA Remediation Licensing Task Force and Special Advisor to DEFRA on its Waste Permitting Review project.
